    Dry January

I have at least 3 or 4 nights a week where I can’t have a drink because of Work, that’s plenty for me.

What are you doing new years eve?

On 3 nights starting tonight so I could have Christmas off to spend with wife and daughter. I’ll be alternating between working and sleeping for next 3 days.

Thanks chippy, looks like the good option for me.

    Shed temperature control using inkbird(s)

That’s what I thought, but being as the shed will be out in open I figured if I’m going to try and control it I might as well control it to something a little higher just to make sure. That way I can sleep soundly in the knowledge the beer will be good for another day and not have...

    Shed temperature control using inkbird(s)

Thanks for getting back. That would solve the next question which was air circulation. I was going to attach an office style fan to cooling, I know it won’t do a great deal but it will at least circulate it. Would one be enough if I part insulate the shed? Temperature wise I was going...

    The Ashes

I hate to say it because they all have done brilliant things for the team, but I think it’s time for a change of the guard. They could all go out together after a summer of home cricket seeming like they’re on top and then the likes of the Curran brothers and Hameed can come...

    Shed temperature control using inkbird(s)

Hi everyone, As I have now purchased a couple of Inkbird temperature controllers (thanks Ali) I am wanting to use them to try and avoid overly cold temperatures in the shed where my brews will be stored to condition etc. The plan was to use some sort of greenhouse heater(s) to prevent it...

    Mini kegs(use by)

All about temperature kept at, as long as there are no major swings where you keep the beer it should be fine for as long as you can bare to leave it.

    Extended Conditioning Times

The Brewferm Christmas kit I made and bottled last Christmas is bloody amazing now. It needed this long. That is up there alcohol content wise though. The pale ale I made is better now in the bottle (8 months on) then it was 6 months ago and that is middle of the road alcohol content wise. It...

    Bottling chore! Pump solution??

With the wand I have (I do also appreciate the Potter reference) I have to angle the bottle slightly to help the flow of the beer. If I keep everything straight it doesn’t flow properly.

    Something gone wrong... help!

It’s not conditioned and therefore not carbed up. Stick some CO2 in it as the bubble you mention is oxygen going in. Then you need to be patient and try again in a couple more weeks.

    Bottling chore! Pump solution??

Bottling does take a long time but it sounds a bit off. I had to get a replacement bottling wand as the push cap on the end was failing and the new one was much quicker.

    Socialism

The problem is which ever ideal you want to follow it is always going to be exploited by the top so many percent and there is always going to be people left behind. Whichever one it is, the middle ground needs to be filled by as many hardworking contributors as possible or none will work.

    Fridges For Kegerator

Most people look on gumtree or EBay (other sites are available) and google internal dimensions. Failing that go in store and find one that would work then go and find something similar.
