    Mesh strainer basket

@BackToBasics If it helps, then I checked out the Robobrew/Brewzilla, Klarstein Brauheld like Ade's, the BrewMonk, Royal Catering (eBay) and the Hopcat. Both Brewzilla and Hopcat have pre-order package deals and Hopcat would have pipped it if it were not for the reviews here and elsewhere...

Then yesterday's brew day settled my mind (fecking mess with mash bags, colanders, incessant squeezing!). I've treated myself to this, as I couldn't resist the...

What kit beer are you drinking tonight?

Wrong thread! That's what a full brew day, not enough food and a strong beer at the end does to your concentration!! 🤣

Cheers for looking, but far exceeds what I'm willing to pay.

    Easy Keg 5L

It doesn't make any mess at all. As for cleaning, I rinse with warm watering it's finished and leave to air dry. On bottling day I clean with a solution of milton. Kegs used 3 times to date and no problems and hopefully for a good while yet.

Hi. All the ones I can find are painted black. with the apertures they have, I'd have to use a bag, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Thanks

    Mesh strainer basket

Hi. To save faff holding a laden bag of hot, wet grain and squeezing over the pot (forget pulleys), has anyone got or seen a basket? Even one that can be mounted to the mash kettle like on expensive electric boilers? I've seen something like this but 100 quid 😕. I'm looking for an equivalent for...

20 ish °C warm for two weeks, then 2 weeks in the cold (can a garage really be cold just now?) before you tuck in. I try and fail to not at least sample on the latter 2 weeks 😁
