What are you drinking tonight 2020.

My first Corny kegged beer - A dark rock Birra Italia. It took less than 1 pint to understand the fuss about Cornys - absolutely worth the investment The entire family felt this was a commercial quality beer.

    Shipyard Pale ale

I know I'm ressurecting an old thread but I'm a huge Shipyard fan. Brewed the Dark Rock part grain Shipyard today and I'll post results when it gets around to tasting

Mangrove Jack Craft Series Gluten Free American Pale Ale (No16)

Fine to ask, I'm not gluten intolerant. I'll often cook things with gluten free flour as we have a number of intolerants within the family. The kit itself was a gift so obviously I was going to brew it and then drink it! This beer does not taste like it is modified to avoid gluten - just like a...

Juicy Session IPA - Mangrove Jack's review

Despite having over 120 pints ready to drink, I suspect this won't get close to seeing Christmas!

Is there a rioja kit worth making?

Another vote for Beaverdale Rioja. I have made their Rioja, Shiraz and Chateau Neuf on successive weeks. While the other 2 are very drinkable, the Rioja is definitely the better of the 3. Holds its own with wines wines >£8. The other 2 are more in the £5/6 range. Mine didn't have a great oaky...

    Beaverdale Chardonnay

I tried something different Brewed this as an Italian style Frizzante, so watered back to 9% and bottled like a beer. Ready for drinking from next weekend.

    Dark Rock Brewing

I kegged Birra Italia this weekend and have Shipyard (Part grain) & Hobgoblin Gold (all grain) on order. Presentation, instruction & packaging of the kits is top notch. Can't wait to get brewing.......

Juicy Session IPA - Mangrove Jack's review

Just adding to the praise for this kit. Bottled mine 2 weeks ago and has been conditioning in the warm. Popped the first couple of bottles in the fridge this weekend and they are absolutely superb. One of the best fruity Ipas I have drunk. Only one question - does it improve with age or...

Mangrove Jack Craft Series Gluten Free American Pale Ale (No16)

I bottled this 6 weeks ago. My second ever brew. It is silky smooth, carbonated beautifully with 5grms sugar per 500ml. Probably a bit maltier than I was expecting and maybe not as bitter or as much dry hop kick as I like but still a very nice session APA. My wife & kids (adult), and friends...

Oak Homebrew Beer kits - 5/19/23/25 Ltr Full Grain kits - Ideal for beginners and smaller bellies

Tried my Rutland Abbey last night after 1 week in the bottle ... I couldn't wait any longer .... unbelievably clean and fresh for this type of beer. Can't wait to try it after it's had another couple of weeks to mature. Very impressed with my first AG attempt.

    Bulk storage of Wine

I've made a handful of Beaverdale wine kits and been very happy with the results. I have only made the 6 bottle kits and bottled the wines after clearing. I'm looking to make a 30 bottle kit next and wonder if there is a good bulk storage and serving system - wine boxes etc? or is there...

    Burco boiler modifications??

How do you control the mash temp with a PID? Do you use the thermocouple on the Burco as an input to your PID controller?
