Looks great! I love this sort of beer! I would've started winding the temp up 1 degree a day about a week ago. I'm sure it will be fine, but I would start inceasing now.

My frozen beer turned out fine. Let it thaw out overnight. Bottled it the next day. Turned out great!

The brew fridge was in the garage. Don't know if the ambient temperature makes a difference, but this happened last August. I think it may have happened because it was touching the back wall of the fridge which had started to ice up. Now I try and lager at 2.5C which seems to work without icing up.

I just checked on malt miller 8Kg on a 7 gallon brew bucket. I usually brew 23-25L batches. So that's up to 33Kg lifting up and down to work top height. That could finish me off I think!!

How much do the SS Brewtech fermentors weigh empty? I've just tweaked my back yesterday getting plastic FVs in and out of the brewfridge. I'm tempted to go SS but the extra weight has to be a consideration.

Chemsan is similar to starsan I think, so wont be that. Try a campden tablet in your water. It could actually be an infection, but hard to tell now.

TCP is usually from chlorine not rinsed properly after sanitisation or chloramine in tap water. This won’t go away unfortunately. If you’ve got tap water that smells like chlorine treat your water with a Campden tablet. Don’t use bleach to clean or sanitise your bottles or equipment. I’ve...
