    2 gallon PB works great once you get use to sealing them, never lost pressure yet have it few years now. Definitely recommend.

    Good point, I'll see if I can find a place where I can drop if off one week and collect it the next, hopefully get my own tank with dip tube removed. Thanks for all the advice.

    Good morning all, I checked the fire extinguisher and regulator it seems like the fire extinguisher valve is definitely stuck open, I tried to slowly release the gas between the regulator and tank, it should have ran out very quickly, but it just kept going so I very slowly loosened the nut...

    I'll order some John Guest taps, I'll check the regulator and tank in the morning, learning as I go, pressure barrels are looking nice and easy compared to cornys. Thanks 👍

    What did you brew today?

    Brewed a Stout last night small batch 2 gallons. 1.5kg Pale malt, 300 grams of flaked barley, 200 grams roast barley, 20g East Kent Goldings for 60 minutes used a pack of Cooper's yeast. Looks good 👍

    Hi thanks for the warm welcome, I brew all sorts, country wines, wine kits beer kits, all grain ales stouts bitters, not so much larger as I'm not set up for that, but I could be, I have a little bit of room in the shed so it's possible but not yet.
