I've decided to do a test of both kits, head to head. I'll do them exactly the same and see which is better. the plan is: Coopers can, 4x espresso shots, 500g brew enhancer, 500g dextrose, 250g Extra dark DME 250g lactose how does that sound?

So I've managed to get both coopers original and Irish stout. Would the Irish be best?

I'm just looking to do a milk stout next but am wondering if there's any particular kit that's better suited to the addition of lactose? I've done a coopers original which I think would work well and a St Peter's stout so was thinking of doing the Coopers Irish with lactose. any thoughts...

Can anyone tell me, what diameter is the threaded part of a standard beer tap. I need to know so I can make a support plate for the fridge so it doesn't bend before it arrives.

I have the barbed ball lock fittings on my corny with 3/8 pipe to a party dispenser thing. What I want to do is stick it into a bar style tap/font which I don't have yet. I have a load of metric speed fittings but am wondering what size I will need to connect to a bar tap and if zi can just use...

Kit arrived this morning, with a free pint glass. Well happy with the service from them. From order to door was like 3 days, which would be good even in normal times.

What pressure are you going for? Not sure if I should do the 30 psi thing for a few days or just keep it at 10 as I don't like mega fizzy stout.

I'm already thinking I should get another one for an IPA or something the boys would drink. I seem to be the only one that loves a stout, rain or shine. What's your most popular brew. I'd only be doing an extract version for now though!

I've ordered a keg kit and recieved a dpd delivery confirmation today for tomorrow! So fingers crossed. Had a few emails exchanged and he was very helpful and said he's snowed under but been getting loads out today. I'll report back tomorrow.
