    All in one systems

Thanks for that stripeyjoe. Is good to know that it is a sliding scale. The Grainfather range seems expensive although the s40 is competitive, I was looking at the brewdevil range as they are more affordable for larger brews so it is specific brewdevil information I want. I did originally look...

Ideas on upgrading on the cheap...

That looks like an interesting idea. Any chance of more detail?

Taking a step back.... I looked up the volumes of the brewdevil kit. The fill line seems to be 5 ltrs less than the stated volume, so for example the 50ltr fill line is actually 45 ltrs and the 70 is 65 ltrs. Given that there is displacement from the grain then the liquid available will be...

Netflix and the utility companies are limited companies with shares that you can buy on the stock market. I am not sure what your point is? 🤔

Don't forget, privatise the BBC and that will mean the issue of shares. The rich will be able to afford to buy those shares and make money on them. The rich are generally Tory supporters. Just saying :confused.:

The Brewdevil price difference is about £50. The 50 and the 70 Brewdevil will both do 23 ltr one keg brews, what is not clear is if the 70 will do a 2 keg brew as well as the max 3 keg brew. There is another aspect I haven't thought of and that is to do an additional half keg brew. I don't mean...

You would think so wouldn't you, at least in theory. However practically, allowing for some headroom to prevent spillage/boilover etc and to allow for a margin, 40ltrs is just pushing the boundaries. Also btter to have a little wort over than to be short.

    All in one systems

The reason I am looking at 50ltr systems is because I am totally keg driven. I don't ever bottle. Currently I use separates and want to move to an all in one system and be able to fill 2 kegs at a time, but still be able to do a single keg brew if I want to. I already have two Ss Brewtech...

    Curry...!!

Gluten free is hard enough, but no onions or garlic is very difficult, most commercial sauces and marinades have either or both in them. However great curry can be made without them using the basic spices and a good helping of yoghurt stired in late in the cooking.

I agree it's a political attack by the government, a calous distraction from its current despicable behaviour. However the BBC has an important role that we all forget about, that of a public service provider. When the brown stuff hits the fan globally the first place the general public turn to...

1975 - One for the Mini fans

How things have changed. Modern cars don't rust like they used to. There were two speed measurements in those days, how fast does she go, and how fast does she rust. Italian cars were fast in those days, and they could travel quickly as well.

Bottom of the door panels? Water used to run down the windows past the poor seals and collect inside the door. And then rust its way out

My first car was a 998cc Austin Mini Cooper. Not the more common Cooper S which had the 1275cc engine. Mushroom with a white roof, what colours we had back in the '70s. OK to 85 MPH but faster than that was pushing such a small engine. Acceleration was good with the twin 14mm carburettors though.

A beer that's best from the bottle....is probably best left there.
