    Show us your dog

Is that the dogs full name? I hope so as as it means my family is not alone in naming their dogs with long winded silly names asad1 My Rio (pictured earlier) has a full name of Rio Scroffage Banana...... its mad but then so is the dog.🤪

    Coffee

I spend almost as much on coffee as I do beer! I use a bean to cup expresso machine and have a coffee importer and roaster within walking distance of my home so I lucky to be able to get fantastic beans easily.

    Show us your dog

The slow motion video is my Rio. He is a rescue, chucked out of the back of a van on a motorway with his two brother at the time of the Olympics, hence the name. He is 7 now and has slowed down a bit but is still a very fit dog. After running and eating his favorite occupation is sleeping. A...

Ukraine crisis: World leaders step up talks amid invasion fears

This all sounds worryingly like Chamberlain's efforts in 1938/9. Let's hope not, but I don't put much faith in the reliability of a world leader who likes to be photographed riding horses bare chested. Like all blackmailers he will extort what he wants now and ask for more and more later.

    Help with my pales.

I think so! Although putting ointment on your IPAs will make them tast odd.

    Kegorator

I think it depends on the pump. The ones I have seen seem to clamp to a surface so need a bar type surface to attach to. My keezer is a converted chest freezer and it isn't possible to attache one to the lifting lid as it would impede access to the keezer. Wherever I put my keg and CO2 source...

    Kegorator

My project for this year is to create a hand pump dispenser from a keg. I already have a 4 tap keezer and will be adding another gas line from its supply to demand fill the keg with co2 when the hand pump is used. The hand pump itself will be mounted separately frome the keezer and I hope to be...

    Hop pellets

I find that hop pellets disintegrate where as hop leafs don't and therefore are better contained by a bag.

    Sue Gray report.

It seems to be a report that exposes poor leadership, incompetence and lies. And this at a time, given the issues in the Ukraine, that we need to demonstrate strong leadership, integrity and truth against an aggressive tyrant.

    Flares.

My memory of flairs was them getting caught in my bicycle chain and resulting in torn flairs, oily trousers and cuts and scrapes from coming off the bike. I thought they looked good at the time.... but I was young and foolish.

Name for a New Pilot Nanobrewery?

I think it is important to choose a name that fits with your target market and your own heritage. It's good to see someone with Punjab heritage brewing, and I wish you the best of luck in your venture. I love Indian food and find a good craft IPA is great with a curry, however I have yet to find...

    Changes to the highway code.

Increasingly I see moped and motorcycle delivery drivers behaving dangerously on the roads about me. It seems that most or them have L plates up and so have probably never had any instruction on how to ride a motorcycle. I have a full M/C licence and have had one for over 40 years and am only...

    Gas line fittings

That good news. The elbow joint I have now is great, thanks all. One more thing. I am adding secondary regulators that have guages up to 23 PSI. The pub size co2 bottle has a regulator on it which is adjustable up way beyond the 23 PSI of the secondary regs and so I need to protect them from...

    Changes to the highway code.

Sadly there are several cycling death every year on our roads. Cycle paths are supposed to make cycling safer and making there use optional seems to be a step in the wrong direction. It seems to me that the long term impact of this could discourage cycling through increased risk.

POLL - Would you rent a grainfather?

I would like to try before I buy, but adding £50 to the cost of a brew is too expensive. It would be cheaper to buy beer at the supermarket

    All in one systems

It seems to me that Grainfather sizes are more brew size orientated where Brewdevil are max volume numbers. Is this a fair comment?

    Brewzilla Gen 4

I don't have access to a power supply Greater than 13 amps so it looks like that limits me. The S40 Grainfather looks more attractive now. Does anyone know the power requirements for the smaller 50 (45) litre Brewdevil? EDIT: Apparently it is a 3Kw element, I don't know if that takes it over the...
