    Will Smith slap.

Firstly I am not OK with any violence whatsoever. This includes the verbal kind. So in my view the first violence was rendered by the comedian. Secondly, nowhere in my post did I defend Smiths slap. His responce was over the top. Read my previous posts. Thirdly, to attack a woman suffering an...

Love Brewing Giveaway - Still Spirits Tonic Water Flavouring Kit!

Count me in! Tonic water is my favourite drink, after beer naturally?

    Will Smith slap.

I am very disappointed to see that the media seems to be very anti Smith. All he was doing was protecting his wife. Perhaps not the right way to do it but the sentiment was the correct one. I would rather see the comedian crucified by the press as he was the aggressor I think.

    Beards.

I can't reply to this survey as the option " Never had one and don't want one " isn't there!

True. Alot of Russian tanks look more like APCs these days what with the "javelin" turret removal service that the Ukrainians seem to be so good at.

Sorry I have to be a pedant but that Leggo tank is not a Russian tank. It a ww2 German Panther, if the pesky Ruskies are using those then no wonder they are failing.🙄 Edit: someone better tell the farmer he has nicked an APC and not a tank. OK I'll get my coat......

    Will Smith slap.

I think I would have not laughed at the event and then made a formal complaint to the organisers and probably had a pop at the comedian through social media. I would definitely have kept the moral high ground and not stepped down to the comedians level.

    Will Smith slap.

While his actions were inexcusable, I understand the sentiments behind them. If the love of your life is ill it is no joking matter and to ridicule someone in public for an illness out of their control and that causes them physical and mental anguish is frankly the actions of a complete...

    Will Smith slap.

The joke wasn't funny, the comedian was out of line, Smiths reaction was over the top. Nobody looked good.. Smith needs to be censured for what he did and the comedian never hired again.

    Manchester royal hi all

I am glad you are expecting to go home soon and I hope you get well quickly. But seriously, you must take it easy and do what ever the docs tell you. Sadly that will mean cutting down on some things you enjoy, and maybe doing things you don't like but you have got to do it.

Picture or Video of the day.

The above happened to me one year. I dropped my wife and a friend of hers at the Hampton Court flower show with a promise to collect them later when they phoned me. It was the last day of the show when a lot of the plants are sold off at the end of the day. When I went to collect the pair of...

    Best thing you ever purchased

The wife's engagement ring and my dog are a close run thing. The former probably takes it as the dog won't last as nearly long as the wife has. ....however if she reads this.......

    Dodgy keg?

Some of the same batch of wheat for sure. I will post the recipe later but I won't be using the same one again in any event.

    Dodgy keg?

Sorry I should have said. It a stainless steel corny keg

    Dodgy keg?

Since the beginning of December I have brewed six times. Two of these brews have gone sour, both Wheat beers and both in the keg and in the same keg when gone bad. All of the other brews are just fine. After the first failure I took the keg apart to find out why I seemed to have had an issue and...

    You couldn't make it up.

My dog weighs 27 kilos. Unfettered in a car during an emergency stop or worse in an accident his weight has a lot of momentum and would cause a lot of damage to me and the dog. People who don't secure dogs in cars either don't love them or are terminally stupid.

Not a clue! Unless that have a power source in the tow truck to get the brake off.

A thing of the past sadly. Now it's pushing the car with the flat battery and dropping the clutch in first. If you are lucky. My latest car has an electronic handbrake. You need power to get the handbrake off and so a flat battery means your stuffed as you can't push it anywhere.

Help needed with a very mild mild.

That true, HB. If it drops to 1.020 then I will have a mild beer. If it makes it down to 1.009 which is more often where things end up for me then not so mild. But as it stopped at 1.020 then maybe that will be better. I just got the feeling it didn't really get started properly last time so we...

Help needed with a very mild mild.

Update: Sugar and a little more yeast added to kick things off on Saturday. Fermenting well now and has been since the additions were made so I hope all will be well. I added 1.5kg of brewing sugar which might have been a little on the robust side and so the Mild may not be so mild, if you know...
