I think I'd see Dr Hans or someone like that using them. Not something I've tried myself, but similar premise to the Flot-it.
Scott Janish has a pretty cool method on his website.

I got my Flot-it on Amazon. It does indeed come from the USA. Hops into the keg after keg purged (quickly open the keg and chuck in). I purge my kegs with CO2 from fermentation, so can't put the hops in prior to the purge. Transfer beer on top (no bag).
I can't say I've noticed a massive...
I've certainly been guilty of assuming that. I think we've all known for some time that IBUs are of limited value, given the number of variables at play, but if there is a more accurate way of estimating bitterness that is more applicable to more modern hopping techniques, then the measurement...
It'll likely not last as long as if it was indoors, but if you can get it pretty cheap/freezing then go for it. They're not as fragile as you might think. I have one in my garage, but it's gone through winters with the occasional -10c overnight.
I absolutely do not need any more ingredients at the moment but am sorely tempted.
Some excellent deals on there. 25% off all malt and hops.

Thanks for the links. This is really interesting stuff. I hope we can see new measures of IBUs becoming more mainstream. To the best of my knowledge, I think a lot of this is perpetuated by the most common ways that IBUs are calculated in brewing software. Would be good to see some of this stuff...
I had it then too. Wiped me out for a couple of days.
Seeing lots of it with patients , but nowhere near as bad as it was a couple of years ago, thankfully. It's never gone away.
Perhaps, but I wouldn't necessarily extrapolate that the motives were one of eliminating competition. Perhaps it was to ensure the story wouldn't be buried. Releasing it now has ensured we're all talking about it.
It was taken two years ago. Her solicitor made the point that we were in various stages of lockdown 4 years ago and doesn't know where this number came from.
He also said that she took a lot of convincing to come forward because she assumed that it must be standard practice given the profile of...
