    Yeast starter question

Calling all yeast experts! I am making a yeast starter from a one month out of date sachet of WLP004 Irish ale yeast. I want to use it in a 120 litre brew but don't really know what I'm doing! I bought a stir plate, flask and cans of starter wort, I think I worked out that I would need to make a...

Equipment For Sale 56 litre Brew pot and 60L Fermzilla allrounder with pressure caps for sale

Hi Broken Toe It depends on the size of your fridge. It's a 60L vessel so it's 84cm tall but you have to add in and out posts and maybe a spunding valve? The diameter is 32cm. I hope that helps?

Equipment For Sale 56 litre Brew pot and 60L Fermzilla allrounder with pressure caps for sale

Haha, thanks! I always scrubbed it after every use, and gave it a citric acid wash before every brew. I had a brew that tasted burnt once and was convinced it was because the element was properly cleaned. After that I always kept it super clean!

    Order from Keg Kingdom

It's the lack of communication that's the real problem. I ordered some stuff back at the end of May, beer line and John Guest fittings. I contacted him a few times, firstly because I wanted to add more to the order, never got a reply. Then a week later whether the order was going to be shipped...

Any had contact from www.kegkingdom.co.uk recently?

I wish I'd read this thread before I ordered from KegKingdom. I ordered a few JG fittings, disconnects and beer line on 28th of May and haven't heard anything. I wouldn't mind but I had mistake with my beer line order and needed to add more, I sent an email saying it was ok to debit the...

    Youngs American IPA

I did this kit a few times a couple of years ago and like @Kenboy I never got below 1.009. If the gravity reading stays the same for three days then it's ready to bottle.
