Been at centre Parcs all weekend. Took a mini keg of my John Bull IPA hopped with citra, a few 1l bottles of strawberry and lime TC and a year old coopers stout also 1l . Ran out of drink now. How do People deal with there kids full time!!!!!!
The wife had a few bottle of sav blanc , and she...
So on a bit of an unplanned session.
First chop vanilla stout,
Tasty, lots of roast flavours, but to be honest put, my coopers stout with vanilla was better.
Mmm, Rochefort 8 is one of my all time favourites, I could drink it all day.
At 9.2% the day might be very short, but it's definitely a great beer.:grin:
The rochefort 8 is really nice, better that the chimay red prior but both very enjoyable.
Must admit did something the same, buy the cheapest and go from there.
Have a few left but I also get a case from beer52 each month so been struggling to get through them as try to enjoy them rather that...
Finished the mini keg of John Bull citra IPA so enjoying a chimenay red label, really starting to enjoy beers from Belgium
I use the other one, but push the plastic middle in after the first pint and the replace with another one when finished pouring. Did my first keg with the plug the wrong way and ended up with a keg of ale all over the fridge
Got 10 for the price of a keg, really enjoying how simple they...
Never normally make one, because simply I would break it a few days later, however we had dinner with another couple recently and they did one for each other...... the wife was not up for that...
Something sounds wrong here, the kit you bought is a premium kit, everything included. If your adding dame your making rocket fuel, more than likely the yeast couldn't cope, gave up and now you have sweet beer.
Thanks for sending, quite sure that there are more eloquent and indeed sensitive tastebuds out there. But really has opened my eyes to a new beer style which I am enjoying. :thumb::grin:
Drunken monk. 10.2% quadruple.
Opened with a small hiss, the smell initially was treacle like or dark sugar, but malty. Dark in colour with a thin head, though this could be due to being fridge cold and the glass I am using.
First sip gives big malt flavours with just a tiny hint of the alcohol...
So today I will be trying my last santa swap beer. Going to be my first beer of 2018.
Drunken monk.
Really looking forward to later on to crack it open
