    Hazy Yeast. What does it bring to the party?

    Are you brewing up a recipe for a beer you've never tried? It certainly doesn't look like a hazy beer in the pictures.

    Same here only mine was made October 2021. Its enjoyable enough but the citrus flavour doesn't suit it.

    Bairds are 15 mins down the road from me (although I think this factory tends to do malt for whisky) I've yet to work out if a punter can rock up and grab a sack (unlikely)

    Its excellent. Funnily enough they'd been out of stock for a few weeks and I emailed to check when it would be back in and got a nice reply on thursday to say it'd be back friday.

    Vac-pack for hops

    Thats what I do with whole hops from the garden. Its standard timings aren't setup well for them as theres so much air in the system.

    Stewart brewing are a genuine brewer just outside Edinburgh. Maybe they had a price they had to deliver at from lidl/aldi

    Where do you get your kits from? On the odd occasion I do so I go to Farm & Household stores in Inverness. Pay a bit more but I'd rather do that and they stay open (I get my s03 gas from them)

    I'd be up for this as well. I'm in forres most weeks. I normally buy from crafty maltsters whose parcelforce costings scale in a strange way. It's a great malt though and I've used their ale malt for everything from pilsners to imperial stouts. We've malting on our doorstep up here though but...

    Work gave us 50quid for xmas in an internal system that you can exchange for stuff. I blew it (plus 10quid they gave my team a few months ago) on tesco vouchers. On the smokehead just now.

    Im feeling lazy and its cold in the garage!!

    I made up one of these a few months ago and just got round to trying the keg. Got to say its pretty good. Mines a good bit stronger as I only made it up to 19l to fit in a corny.
