    Electric cars.

I drive a Lexus plug-in hybrid and Toyota offers the same deal to that brand as well.

The UK doesn't want the Imperial system back.

That's true, beer is sold in 12oz, 16oz or 20oz but they seem to package it as a glass, a sleeve or a pint. In my experience based on a few trips to British Columbia if you don't specify you'll be served a sleeve.

I drive down to Dublin on a regular basis. The road signs are in mph until I get to the border then they change to km/h. I've never found it to be a difficult transition to be honest. I've never mistakenly gone from 70mph to 120mph when I get to Dundalk. 😊 I'm of the generation that was...

I have turned the news off

No matter how often they put them out I'll bet they've never managed to beat the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band at the world championship. :laugh8:

I can't remember what the occasion was, national bread day or some such event, but they gave it away to anyone that wanted it. You can have some of ours if you want it although we have been feeding it for about a year so it will have change a wee bit from the Yellow Door version.

Nice! On the bread porn front did you manage to pick up some of the 70 year old Polish sourdough starter from Yellow Door this year? #SlightlyOffTopic

A familiar one from the ever popular Kinnegar. Scraggy Bay IPA. I like this beer. 😊

What are you listening to tonight.

Time to lighten the mood, so I've put on this wee Todd Snider song that seems appropriate to a brewing forum. :D Beer Run.

What a song and such a poigant subject for so many people. He's one of those songwriters, much like the late John Prine, that can make you laugh or make you cry. Sometimes both in the same song.

Excellent! I saw him a few years ago in Belfast where he nervously played "She left me for Jesus" after calls for it from the crowd. He said, "I didn't think I should play this one here, I know you people are kinda sensitive about religion and not everyone gets irony". :D

Grateful for Christmas by Hayes Carll. A Christmas song about real life... Hayes has written some great songs and I think this is one of them.

On to a staple of the Sneedhearn household, O'Hara's Irish Red.

It wasn't no. Slightly over £2k but nearly £400 of that was delivery ashock1 They are made by a bloke called Kent Viles in Colorado and he only does 100 of each run, so it's a case of pre-order and wait. It is a cracker of a guitar though. A resonator with a Bigsby tremelo and a "b-bender".

Me too! I even bought one of those Dobrato guitars that he's playing in that video. #fanboy :laugh8:

A wee bit of Jason Isbell this evening. A good song from a good album.

That's me finished for the Christmas holidays so I'm starting this evening with this: I rather like it, tropical fruit flavours very apparent.
