My first build had a Cyrix DX4-100 CPU and the box ran MS-DOS 6.22. Those were the days 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Cheers Tom

Hell yeah, my video encoding pc is still on xp. It's not used very often now but it's still working well 👍 Cheers Tom

Or was it sorbitol? Cheers Tom

Indeed. Boots London bitter was a favourite of mine. I even got Mrs soupdragon to knock one up once while I was at work 😁 "Brewers yeast in manitol" is another memory 🤔 Cheers Tom

    Brupaks Pride of Yorkshire kits

They've certainly had issues in replying to emails for some time. I first contacted them over a year ago about stock and never got a reply 🥺 Cheers Tom

    Brupaks Pride of Yorkshire kits

It would be a shame if they're not the same as they used to be. I always wanted to do a Courage Directors bitter kit (presumably Muntons) but they were discontinued before I got around to them. I'd hate the Brupaks to end up the same way 🥺 Cheers Tom

Is the Homebrew hobby in decline?

There's always the possibility of the younger generation not needing to ask so many questions on the internet. I would imagine there are a higher proportion of newer brewers with brewing parents they have watched as they were growing up Cheers Tom

    Muntons Smugglers: kit vs AG

Word is that Muntons "may" do limited runs of the Smugglers. I've got 4 to do and plan on doing something the same as you. Standard yeast X2, CML BEòIR and Four. Not sure about the 4th kit yet. I'm quite taken by their gold range Old English Bitter. I found it to be smooth and surprisingly...

Don't mention the B (ottles) word 🥶 Cheers Tom

    Muntons Smugglers: kit vs AG

I'd been getting less and less enjoyment out of my brew days for a good few years. Don't get me wrong, the beers I've been making had been significantly better than any of the kit brews I've done. The only kit brew that I can really say that I've enjoyed every last drop is Muntons Gold Old...

Ahhhhhhh, so as Rod said. Well done that man (or woman or it/them/rabbit or whatever else is currently doing the rounds) Cheers Tom

Is that another one that I've not heard before? 🤨 Cheers Tom

    Abrosexual

What other sexual iterations will people think of to describe themselves from the ever decreasing list of possibilities? Surely every base has been covered by now? What if I decide that I want to masturbate in Asda and say I "identify" as dirty old b@stard and I shouldn't be prosecuted for...

    Abrosexual

Where's the shaking head emoji? 🤬 Isn't that just someone who's bisexual but can't make their mind up? Cheers Tom

    Is this fixable?

I thought mine was bad enough with a 2 degree bit of red measurement stuff at the other end of a 6 inch gap. That looks proper fooked 😱 Cheers Tom

Had some a few years ago, was tasty but it took some chewing. This was from a restaurant by the way Cheers Tom

    The Homemade Pizza Thread

Base of the one on the silver tray was a little under cooked. The one on the mesh, while cooked would have been better for a bit longer in the oven. As all parties were quite hungry they were eaten as they were. Next effort will be on a higher heat and for longer. Every day is a school day so...

    The Homemade Pizza Thread

Are you ready to be underwhelmed? Plain cheese and tomato Cheese, tomato and Cajun chicken Both were tasty but some fine tuning is required. Both needed longer in the oven (bases were softer than hoped) but certainly a good start 😁 Cheers Tom
