Hmmmm, cheaper for that size box than Yorkshire but is it available in a 480 (or more) pack as we do go through quite a few tea bags. The small boxes just aren't worthwhile 😔 Cheers Tom

Will have a look but they're almost as expensive as Yorkshire and there's less in each bag. Is that because Assam is supposed to make a stronger brew? Cheers Tom

Nope, tried them. Aldi gold too. Tetley gold and standard, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's. The best of that lot were the Aldi gold but won't be buying any more. In the morning when I make our breakfast and brews I have to dunk the Mrs's used tea bag (Yorkshire ) in my brew to lift it to acceptability...

    IPA Kits

How was the best by date on the Young's? I did a couple of Festival American IPA that were close to date and they were very bitter too. An earlier brew was fine. Just a thought..... Cheers Tom

Would be good to hear your thoughts on the woodland Citra. The partridge brothers have just done a review of it and didn't like it one bit. Strange for them as it's their type of beer (mind you, usually any beer is their type of beer). Cheers Tom

    What Extract kit

Mangrove Jack used to do a Citra beer but for some reason the dropped it from the range. Dark Rock home brew have their own Citra kit, @GhostShip has done both as he's a fan of Oakham's Citra. If I remember correctly he liked the Dark Rock kit bit commented that it wasn't quite as good as the...

Father Hook - off taste - any way back?

I did that kit a while ago. No strange flavours but thought it was overly bitter. I'm not a fan so I've crossed it off my list Cheers Tom
