    Blueberry & coconut stout

I didn't do the Greg Hughes one but done a basic stout recipe with 100g toasted coconut in mash, 100g in boil (along with Cocoa powder) and 300g in fermenter. The sample that I had from the trial jar gave a nice subtle coconut taste and tasted promising. Not sure how long the coconut taste will...

    Tap and line cleaning

I have line cleaner arriving tomorrow and like you mine haven't been fully cleaned since the keezer was built ! I normally just run starsan through after the keg has kicked !! I cleaned them all on Sunday with starsan and they have been left disconnected from kegs until this line cleaner...

    Blueberry & coconut stout

A bit of a coincidence as I had thought of doing this. I had looked through the book last night for ideas on using up the 500g of coconut left over from a chocolate, coconut stout I kegged at the weekend. The coffee, vanilla and maple Imperial stout on the opposite page sounds fantastic though.

August competition: British Pale Ales, Bitters & Milds

I may possibly have a bitter for entry if my attempt at removing carbonic bite due to user error and setting wrong carbonation level in keg works. I disconnected the gas and vented keg over a number of days and just put it back at proper psi. Will try at the weekend and let you know. Wish I...

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

@Hazelwood Brewery is the tangerine zest flavour off putting at all. I'm about to keg my 2 beers today and one of them is an AIPA that I'm going to hop on the keg rather than hop in fv. Also, did you just drop the ss hop tube into the keg or attach to the underside of the lid?

    Tap and line cleaning

Does the one you have contain chlorine ? I was looking at this one from nisbets and it appears to contain chlorine. Puts me off a bit as I wouldn't want to get any off flavours.

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Just finished cleaning a few kegs and beer lines ready for kegging 2 brews at the weekend. Found a few bottles of porter from early January on the garage. Poor head retention but lovely beer.

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

And just a little too much butter than usual so it nearly drips off the heel

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Another AIPA but I think it's near the end as it's getting a little bit hazy now.

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Never mind deny any knowledge, I'm close to forgetting about it. 4 pints of 6.4% (I'm a light weight drinker) AIPA in and its still going. I had "estimated" 1-2 pints and I would be in bed. 😂

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

The quest to clear the AIPA keg before the weekend continues...

That one is 7cm by 18cm so mine should fit. Fingers crossed 🤞
