A coconut stout in the garage making new tap handles for the keezer. Going to varnish and then put blackboard paint on and some sort of logo at the top.
I dont think I will send the bitter @Hazelwood Brewery . I am still getting what I believe is carbonic bite from the keg that I didn't have from the ones that I had bottled. Apologies.
Anyone taken the plunge on the new brewzilla Gen 4 ? Have been thinking of upgrading at some point in the very near future and wanted to get some thoughts on it.
Cheers
Have you tried hopping in the keg ? Definitely improved my current one, but the first few (5 ?) Pints were extremely murky and I don't think they will ever clear but the aroma really improved.
Did anyone watch the hobby man series on channel 4 tonight ? Tonights episode had a section on home brewing and I was wondering how they were going to portray it.
OMG the kit and setup that the girl who provided the homebrew had was unbelievable !!!
All c's ipa. Hopped in keg and I think it's the best one I've done of this recipe and will probably try another hop in keg again rather than dry hopping in fermenter.
Yeah it's been kegged since 1st August. Really happy with the taste at the minute. Had added coconut to mash, boil and fernenter and cocoa powder to boil so was expecting head retention issues.
A bitter. I had over carbed the keg and got carbonic bite and tried but failed to remove it by de-gassing (if that's a word) over a number of days. it's ok if left for about 10 minutes before drinking 😟
Power failure in our area, so had to come outside to the other side of the garden as the battery fail safe didn't allow me to turn the alarm off (inherited an ancient system). Estimated fix for 10:30 tonight 🤦♂️ in the meantime my West coast murky IPA
