Fyne Panther please.

I did a Nog in May (my second ever kit) and it only got to 3.4 but, I think as someone suggested above, my hydrometer skills were poor at first and the mix was not homogeneous. I only have a few left but tried one a couple nights ago and it’s improved so well and was very tasty

I got given a 4 pack of tins last month and thought exactly that. It used to be my favourite. Maybe taste buds have changed from drinking own beer?

I have one of these kits to try and have just ordered 100g of Citra based on your recommend. :) the only issue now is the line of kits waiting for their turn!

I was putting an order in and threw one of these in the basket. I like wheat beers on occasion but it isn’t a “go to” for me so thought at a tenner, it’s worth having one. Have any members made this and how do you rate it. Matt.

This is my only my 4th brew and each one I learn something new. I just wish I could learn something g without making a mistake first! I did prefer the bag to tins though, much easier to get as much out as possible

My hydrometer reads 0 (ish) in plain water. Sterilised spoon and hydrometer. Gave it all a good stir and then tested by putting hydrometer in the FV. 1.048, the instructions suggested 1050. Drew some through the tap and it was the same suggesting homogeneity has now been achieved! That...

Thanks for the reply. It’s a Wort kit that doesn’t use extra sugar, don’t know if that will make a difference.

The sample was drawn through the tap on the FV at the bottom I stirred “vigorously” and there was quite a froth on the top. Its currently sat at 24 degrees I used 3 litre to dissolve the wort and then top up to 23 litre with filtered water. I haven’t checked if my hydrometer reads 0 in water...

It’s a fantastic brewery and had many a work leaving do disguised as a brewery tour there when I was living in Cornwall. Probably one of the only things I miss about it now I’m living in Norfolk…and the pasties available in every third shop obviously.
