    allinson yeast

If its good at producing co2 to rise bread quicker I suppose it could be used to prime up at packaging stage? Assuming the beer isn't a big abv beer? If I cold crashed my beer and was unsure of how much yeast make it to the bottling stage I would probably have a go making a priming solution with...

    No chill

I cheat as I generally extract brew/mini mash /hop tea. I do a reduced boil volume 6-8 litres of a 21 litre brew length. A couple of near freezing bottles of water to hand to make a temp adjustment. Last time I checked cold water from tap it was 14c. My process means chilling not required. On...

    Belt in Oil

There is also the issue of some engine flush products sold as a quick buck for the garage - I've been offered this in halfords typically to increase it's £££ damaging the belts. PSA group have warned about this. So not only does servicing need to be done properly but no incompatible engine...

    Belt in Oil

yup ecoboost strikes again. I recall it once one won engine of the year award. It would be ok if you PCP it and hand it back after 3 years before it gets a chance to ambush your wallet in an unexpected way.

Pressure Fermenting pressure Notes and guide

Sometimes people learn better by doing themselves than being told what to do, in life or death situations being told a correct way to do stuff is better than incurring death and injury by figuring it out. For brewing generally the biggest risk is having to tip a brew, you could poison or burn...

    Bit of a rant

speaking of cows and trying to cut down on emissions, one approach is to vaccinate the cows to fart less. yet another approach is to capture cow farts. these are at odds with each other. farmer A who recycles cow farts in a barn can't buy farmer B's cows because he's vaccinated his not to.
