Fancied a beer tonight and was wondering what to have then remembered I had @Stu's Brews grand union tucked away in the utlity. bit lively on the pour but the descriptor was spot on, lovely citrus aroma and a sweet malty flavour, a really good beer and worth waiting for! Cheers!

I remember the last time I had a maccy's, I went to Upton Park to see Argyle lose to the hammers 5-0, Sheringham scored a penalty, 19th Feb 2005. Processed food is a killer.

Well he didn't do much with Bayern Munich last season, he doesn't fill me with much optimism but am happy to be proved wrong.

Unfortunately run out of bottles now to bottle my Dark Pilsner, might just cool the fridge and give it another 2 weeks till I can source/drink another 30 bottles....

And bottled! Smells good, tastes nice and piney, potentially a bit too much roast flavour for me, we'll see how it goes. FG 1012 making it 5.3%.

Ahh marvelous! Many thanks for a nice surprise, quite happy that I've finally managed an ipa that I and others actually quite like. I've had difficulties making a decent one in the past. Congrats to @nidge and @Benfleet Brewery too.

Brewed one 2 weeks ago, used caramunich and it was around 5%.

I'm sure it's all in my head, it just doesn't seem to taste quite as nice....

In my experience the beer doesn't keep as well in plastic bottles. I realise this may be a controversial statement to make. Somewhere between the 30 min boil and preparing a starter for dried yeast or not. I also like the satisfying pssshhh you make when you open a beer with a bottle opener...
