Hi @Twostage beers arrived today thank you so much! Unfortunately one leaked, only a little, or maybe it was condensation. The writing on the labels have disappeared, i've got 'brown' something but can't make out the other one at all!

Hiya, I did and the recipes I settled on, then picked one of, both said you could use an ale yeast but ferment cold or a lager yeast and ferment warm. As I had 4 lager yeasts I decided on that.

    Stu's brü's

I had something similar recently, an English ipa (fuggle hopped) with a similar abv by the sounds of it that also was a bit sweet, ill try and dig out the recipe later. I couldn't quite work out why it was overly sweet, friends loved it but I was slightly disappointed.

    Olde time porter

I would brew it as close to recipe as possible but that does seem like an awful lot of black malt.

The other thing I realised today was just because you wrote down that kolsch yeast was added to the wort doesn't mean that you actually did it...... Noticed there was an extra kolsch yeast in the fridge this afternoon.....shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

    Crossmyloof

Had a problem with an order at the beginning of the month and asked if they'd be winding down, Steven said that some of the less well selling hops would be coming off the stock list but the rest should be there till the end of the year. Yeast finishing up at the start of December.
