Doom is now a pretty poor beer, not helped I think by the fact that i'm not sure that pubs keep beer as well as they used too?

I throw pellets in loose, I find when it cools the debris all falls to the bottom below the tap. Leaf obviously a different story.

Bottle this one ealrier in the week too, I have a slight worry this might be infected had an ever so slightly odd taste, finished at 1008 making this one 4.6%. I'll give it a few more weeks try it.

Bottled this one today, finished at 1010 on the nose making it 4.7%, tasted good slightly more bitter than I expected. Condition for a week or two in the utlity then lager in the shed for a month or two.

Challenger Pale Ale, came in cold from the shed, improves markedly once it warms.

Fascinated by this thread as I have absolutely no idea what anyone's talking about.

So I'm wasting 2 hours of my life watching Argyle on the telly. I had a taste of my dark Pilsner in the fist half and my MAGA brown ale for the 2nd.

Glad you like it, think it's the fourth time I've brewed it, slightly messing about with the hops each time. Must get another on. 👍

Might have a dark Pilsner, it'll be a bit young though, i'll taste check before sending.
