Thinking I didn't want a pint I remembered I had @Caramel Ox chili chocolate stout in the shed! Lively as warned but actually once poured the carbonation is fine. Nice malty aroma, reckon I can smell the chilli too. Flavour is lovely, malty, smooth, bitter but not overly so with a slight burn...

First try of the Belgian pale next, it's pretty good I think... don't have much to compare it with but still, am enjoying it.

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

Just got round to having @matt76 porter, afraid to say it was a little lively and sprayed the kitchen, unusual for you! Got about 2/3rds into the glass and once it settled is very nice. A nice dark chocolate aroma, lots of chocolate and raisin in the flavour, nice probably medium bodied, light...

What are you drinking tonight 2024.

@SMP Brewery next up for me, despite knowing it might be a bit lively I poured it and had to get the towel out.... Lovely sweet saisony aroma (i cant describe this very well at all), great carbonation, looks the part. Tastes as you'd expect, a nice saison, much drier than my last effort and...

    European Championship

The 'Golden generation' of Beckham, Lampard etc were well overhyped by the press, not sure that this generation have underachieved yet, finals, semi finals etc. Haters gonna hate tho.... ;)

Talk about a team that underachieved, think they might have done better with a different manager other than martinez, they are past their best now.

    Collaborative Brew Schedule - 2024

@SMP Brewery Helles Bells, lovely drop. Pours nice and clear, frothy head which last pretty much the whole glass. Nice flowery/bready aroma, a good level of bitterness but behind that there's some nice hop lavour and malty sweetness. Can't make out the hops but am guessing something noble...

    dave_77 Brewdays- 2023 and beyond

Yeah absolutely, it's a lovely hop in a dark beer but funnily enough not used it at all in a light beer yet. Also not used idaho at all, but centennial is always decent.

In the spoons whilst the eldest goes dancing, had 1/2 Golden Gate american ipa by a Welsh brewery whose name escapes me. And this one, a 1/2 of a exmoor fox, its very exmoor brewery, lots of ekg I reckon. Probably should have had these the other way around.
