What put you off?
I did go for something that was more inspired by the historical hoppy Kolsch. Thankfully with the abv being a bit higher the higher intended IBU should keep it balanced
Brewed a Golden ale this morning which will be hopped with Godiva, Pacific Sunrise and a tiny bit of Hallertau Blanc..hit all the numbers so hopefully will be around 4.6 % . Used WLP013 London ale
Kegged a Kolsch yesterday which fermented down to 1.010 for 5.4% so a little bit over on the abv than planned but tasted good on initial tasting. It's in the lagering chamber for a few weeks at 1c.
I think I'm happy with the balance of it..finished a touch higher on the gravity than planned so it's actually got a bit of body for the abv which is nice .
Latest brew on after best bitter kicked last night. 5% American Stout hopped with Chinook, Centennial & Idaho 7 hot side and a small Centennial dry hop
