I'm liking the best bitter inspired by Five Points Best. Colour and flavours are similar. I would say my version has slightly lighter bitterness compared to the bottled version. I think I prefer my version with the slightly softer bitterness. Think the colour will be closer when the slight haze...

Brewed another Saison this week. Another new yeast for me Omega OYL-033. Like the sound of the description (Lemon rind & Black Pepper). Didn't have space in my fermentation fridge so pitched at 20-21c and wrapped in a fleece to maintain the temp overnight.seem to work thankfully as the garage...

So where are we..few updates. Brewed latest version of Italian pils a couple of weeks ago. Yeast was a first time - WHC Einstein. This beer had small dry hop of Bobek & Spalter Select. It's finished at 1.010 for 5.3%. in for lagering at 1c for a few weeks.

Well done everyone on their scores. Looking forward to seeing the comments as the beer I thought would score higher didn't 🤷🏻 what do I know 😂 Porter -29pts & Altbier 37pts. Not bad. On to the next comp ...

First pint out of the keg of my best bitter. 4.3% hopped with Fuggles.

Happy with my Saison /Quince blend..Belgian pale kicked so moved latest keg into its space. Five points Best inspired bitter

Started with a lager then followed with one of my Belgian pales whilst watching the golf.

Little Duvel, think I prefer the original to this version . From memory the Cashmere version was nice, and I really like 6.66

Very nice WC Pils picked up from Malt miller
