I've jumped the gun on a couple of these. Already drinking the Cali common and the American brown is in the FV. Just couldn't help myself. Took a notion for both and ran with it.

This might not be an issue with anyone else but I use a 23L corny as my FV. The keg acts like a faraday cage and therefore the signal, every 900 seconds, doesn't always make it out. If I place it beside the broadband hub, I get the updates nearly every time. I am not massively concerned by this...

Tapped this way too early but I am an impatient man. From memory, this is pretty close to the original taste. I'm actually very happy with how this lager (my first AG lager) turned out.

You could try some of the recipes, if they exist, on sites like brewer's friend etc. Then try and find one that has been brewed a few times or has comments to its success/fail. I'd love to get a proper recipe for Moosehead lager. Their website claims they only use Canadian 2-row in the grain...

But do all infections produce co2, absolutely all of the time? Or is there another reason why an infection would lower the gravity?
