The target attenuation (80%) sounds on the high side - what yeast did you use? I'm always happy with 75% (~ 1014) :-)

One of the advantages I can see of that design is that it only has one clip to secure the lid. Depending on when and where you fill your FV, this might be more convenient. On my current FV there are 3 clips and since it's a snug fit in the brewfridge (and I tend to fill while it's in the fridge...
