    Hop & Grape in Darlington

Yes, Patsy & John Braithwaite, I remember them well, I used to order from them back in 1979 when they first started, I spoke with John on the phone then, he would do hops by the quarter ounce if you asked him, great guy. They retired in 2013.

    Beer Strength

By the way, most of the homebrew forum sites that we see, when googling for info, are Yankie. This puts a whole different picture on points per gallon as they (USA) quote for THEIR gallons. So dont be misled when you see 42 points per pound per gallon of sucroses. Their gallon is only 83.26%...

Gimmick...

    Percentage fermentability

Hello Slid, Thanks for your reply, so far you are the only one. The answer you have given ,- "the same fermentability as the unhopped" is the first part of my quest. I have just discovered that on the 500gm Muntons label it states the EBU as between 30 - 42. There was nothing on...

    Percentage fermentability

Hello to everyone who likes to dot the i's and cross the 't's when it comes to recipe building. I am just looking into dry spray, diastatic or otherwise, malt ex', and have read some time ago, that it is 75% fermentable. I cannot find the thread again for this, so I cant say if it was for...
