Just kegged my abbey blonde so thought I'd take a little taste and God damn it tastes good!! Hopefully it gets a little brighter but I'm very happy with it.

Yeah 🤣 I was going to use the blow tie from the fermenter to keep the pressure somewhat constant...maybe next time 🤣

I've just kegged from mine. I ended up having to manually open the keg to relieve a little pressure every now and then as I didn't have enough John guest fittings for my ball locks 🤦‍♂️

Nice!! I've got a abbey style blonde due to be kegged any day now in mine. Kept it at around 10psi. I am thinking next time I'll use the fermenter to purge my keg as well. So far I'm very impressed.

Hi, I hope to keep this simple. I have a rapt pill and am pressure fermenting. My fermentation finished at 1.011 and I proceeded to cold crash. Could the big change in temp have any bearing on what the pill is telling me as it is giving readings now of 1.008. I suppose there is a chance...

Sorry about the terrible picture but I've just gone and got myself the fermzilla Gen 3 😁 got the thermowell and pressure kit so fingers crossed I can brew again real soon!! Paired up with the rapt pill and the WiFi inkbird in my fermentation chamber it should be a fun experience 🤘

So I dumped it. I popped it open and it had a very acidic smell to it and didn't smell great. It finished according to my iSpindel at 0.996. It had some little white floating bits in it, the picture isn't great but I thought I'd add it anyway. Better luck next time!

I haven't brewed anything of the sort. I'm going to give it a few more days since I can't do anything else anyways and see what happens. I'll just get another bucket this weekend and try again 🤷‍♂️

Got me some of these. They're nice, for me there is a decent licorice taste happening. Never had a barley wine before but I can definitely see myself drinking more and perhaps even brewing some some time.

Perhaps I wasn't so clear but I definitely cleaned both the pine, tap, disconnect and fittings before I put the new keg on. My concern was that because the end of the tap is open that perhaps some bacteria had worked it's way in and would eventually work its way down the line and into the keg.

😂 Nah I've been drinking a little more than that since setting it all up. Just don't want to waste anything that's all. I'm sure it'll be fine 🙂
