I hadn't realised that the canal was filled in,nor that Burgess park sits on what was the basin.
Hope the bitter turns out better than what the canal water was:lol::lol:
Tested today along with a bitter,also done with CML ale yeast. Mild almost on target.Both already nice and clear with good aroma.
Fingers crossed for both being my best mild and bitter to date:thumb:
Na,stout malt:lol:. Can be used for pretty well most ales and obviously stouts:thumb:
Geterbrewed were selling it but along with the other Irish malts they have now stopped.
Was a partial mash.Hops were challenger and then experimental hops from geterbrewed at 15,5mins and flame out plus a dry hop of the same hops.
Probably could have upped the flame out and dry hops however.
