Likewise, mine is fine. Never yet managed to break a bottle. I will say that the Wilko plastic type are trash.

Why not try biab?. It's easy,you can do small batches as well which allows experimentation.I don't have a brew fridge and use the stove top for my boiling but manage ok to produce some decent beers.You could also try partial mashes or some extract brews.

I usualy smoke my rainbow trout with cherry:thumb:and even cheapo bangers are good with the apple

I have done a couple of swaps with a member,also did the xmas santa swap. Would be happy to swap a beer or two,BUT at present i am on medication and not drinking so would have to hold on for a while,possibly end of jan!,if that's ok let me know.:) Im sure you will get some more takers:)

Jake,not intentional,it was a second pop at a brew with some Rye in it,so all accidental:lol: It was a partial mash- 6 litre batch,60 min boil,5 litre mash at 67c x 60 mins,3.5 litre dunk sparge at 72c for 10 mins. 200 grams irish pale malt 200 grams irish lager malt 50 grams munich malt 15...

I will own up to that one:lol:. Thanks for the kind words,yup,been bottled for a while now so guess some of the hop flavour has diminished!.

Had a voucher for Amazon so used it against this book. Whilst my brewing is on hold at present(health),with too many beers to hand,it looked a good read with some future recipies.:thumb:

Well i have some mild to start drinking in earnest ,did try one small 25cl bottle a week or so ago,well pleased,alas i am off booze until into the new year:twisted: it's going to have to keep for some time yet!
