    Hi have a kit for Tom Caxton Real Ale 1.8kg from Wilcos. Just opened the lid to make a start to find there is no yeast sachet! I do have a container of Youngs Super Wine Yeast Compound, and I am wondering if I could use this instead. If so, how much would I use? Thanks for your help.

    Hello from Oxford

    Hi all. I've been brewing my own beer (from kits) for about 12 months now. We've even got a bit of homemade wine on the go from our allotment grown grapes! Not sure what that is going to taste like, but hey, it was free (ish!). Looking to further my skills with this forum. :cheers:
