    My kegorator build

I got all of mine from The Malt Miller. Martin there taught me how it all goes together so I knew what I was doing when I got home.

    My kegorator build

Yesh I thought they were too expensive for what they were. I was prepared to pay £35 for one but they were out of stock. The magnetic tray is a lot easier to clean. Just take it to the sink 👍

    Brew fridge build

I wish I knew what a blow off tube was. I have an idea but it's probably wrong and would have no place on a home brew site 😂

    Brew fridge build

Nice job! I have a tall fridge that I can put 2 x 25l fermenters in and I just leave the probe hanging over the door because they will both invariably be slightly different temperatures. I try and get it about in the middle.

    My kegorator build

Are the all running from secondary regulators? That's some impressive set up if I'm reading that right! I made my first one from a 2and hand fridge. Not big enough for 4 kegs unfortunately but it's good to know I can upgrade! I use a magnetic tool tray for a drip tray. £15 for a set of 4 on...

What piece of equipment has become invaluable that you wouldn’t expect?

That, is absolutely genius!!! I have an induction job but never would have thought to do this!!! I could start off some water in a fermenter while the strike is coming up to temperature then transfer into the 70l kettle in the garage so it doesnt have to heat from cold. I usually have to mash...

Going to Swap to a Corny Keg

I had to pay a £70 deposit on my 6kg bottle but I have the receipt in a safe place so wont have to pay it when I swap it over in god knows how many month. Started using it in October last year and there's loads left! Only gone through 6 kegs though. 6 more to come 😎 2 being kegged next weekend

    I'm just excited

So, I read a really good post on here about water treatment (I think by a gent named Steve) and I'll admit that a lot went over my head but I'd like to eventually get my head around that and start getting my PHs up etc. That said, not quite yet. I have however just bought some campden tablets...

    AG

I use Beersmith 3. I think the app cost me £1.99 and you can create your own recipes on there. It works out your predicted colour, strength and IBUs. You can also look for recipes on there. If I make a beer I've never done before I see if I can find a recipe on there and then tweak it a bit so...

    The Coronavirus thread.

Well, I would have used my full vocabulary but this has never been a site that accepts full on bad language. The problem with the british public is, that I will see them next tuesday 😂

On a plus note and to lighten the mood, am on the garden furniture, soaking up the sun with my Oakley sunglasses on like a bad man, drinking a home brew 5.8% New England Pineapple IPA 😎

    The Coronavirus thread.

The biggest problem is, I fear, and please forgive me for the choice of language I have decided upon to raise my concerns: The british public are for the most part, *********. Once cases start to drop they will be out in the park again. I've seen people in supermarkets. They're idiots. This...

Whatever length if time is mentioned, you not expect to be let out by then. I hope I can go on holiday on July 1st but it probably wont happen. Was really looking forward to our honeymoon.

Hello from A Welshman now living in Scotland

When i first went AG it was a bit bewildering. i found kegging to be the same but watching lots of youtube videos helped make it feel more familiar. And once ytou think you know what you want to do, you can always run your opinions by the forum and see what people think :-)

Hello from A Welshman now living in Scotland

AG doesn't have to be expensive. there are some really expensive bits of kit out there but if you're clever with it you can do it quite cheap. my hole punched 70 litre kettle was purchased with elements and a thermometer, a sight ghlass and all the stuff i needed to assemble it myself. i'm...
