Going to Swap to a Corny Keg

Strange how you navigate on some things on their website, if you go into A rated kegs I think it says they as you told me are £55 for a 19l if you go straight to kegs they are £75 unless its me?. Cracking website and while on the subject was told of another cracking website called Brew2Bottle...

    Irish Red Ale

Every day is a school day, once I get up to speed in All Grain Brewing should imagine you can play about a lot to get a beer to your taste?, one step at a time though, its typical of me rush 110 % into things, but great place to learn the craft on this very forum

    Irish Red Ale

Yes it was, I stopped in a pub and it was like an old Western Film, I walked in and it went silent, I ordered a Hop House 13, one of the locals told me to give the Smithwicks a bash and it was love at first sip, they sussed I was Welsh so it was Alexa Play Tom Jones, had a cracking time

    My kegorator build

Great job, just in the process of going over to Corny Kegs and planning on building a kegerator so your post has inspired me, any tips on where to get a good price on a CO2 Regulator and did you source most parts from Ebay or elsewhere?

Until I get the Corny Keg and Kegerator built, I have a Wilkos Ceveza kit on the go, its been that long since I have put any into my pressure barrel I have forgot what to do, so do I still add the extra suger and screw on the CO2 Bulb or just the Bulb?

What a great site, thanks for that, far cheaper than Ebay, I was finding them for around £75 to £95, so a refurbed one for £55 is a steal, so thanks so much Brew_DD2 for the info

    Irish Red Ale

Yes it can become very addictive. We used to live in Libya, my part was not so dry lol, used to get this 100% Apple juice called Rauch, the top was a flip top like the old Grolsch bottles, a pinch of bakers yeast and in that heat it would soon brew, being utter drunkards it never had time to...

Going to Swap to a Corny Keg

Thanks Cyberjip, that was the way I was thinking, we used to run pub and it was easy enough getting Beer Gas in Wales, not so sure in Aberdeenshire but the pubs must get them from a local place so will go down the replacablle cylinder route, thanks for your informative reply

Going to Swap to a Corny Keg

Hi All, Im still reading up on the benefits of the Corny and it is the way I will go, one question for my CO2 supply I will have to bite the bullet and get a large cyclinder as I imagine this is the best option v cost, but how do the little CO2 bulbs or the soda stream work out cost wise?
