    I have a 100 litre HLT so I can heat all I need in one go which is the way I was thinking of doing it. I have a combi boiler too so that will cut down on the amount of time I need to heat the HLT.

    When heating the Liquor to the right temperature is it best to heat all that you are going to need for the whole batch or just heat what you need for the mash then heat what you need for the sparge afterwards?

    I might give peracetic acid a miss then, sounds pretty nasty. I'll have a look down the StarSan or oxyclean route.

    Someone recommended peracetic acid, has anyone got any experience using that? Looks like you don't need to rinse it afterwards either.
