    Doubling up 1 can kits

I thought maybe with double the unfermentables I would get somewhere about 1.016. I hope the ******* hasn't stuck! Cheers for the advice mate its very much appreciated

    Doubling up 1 can kits

I've dry hopped it today hence taking the gravity reading, I'm hoping to cold crash Friday night and bottle sunday if numbers are stable. Have you any idea what FG I should be shooting for? This is purely an experimental brew as I got both kits for a tenner so if it goes **** up I'm not too...

    Doubling up 1 can kits

I posted a couple of weeks ago about using 2x1can kits in a single 23litre batch. I've brewed 2xwilko hoppy copper bitter to 23litres. The OG was 1.052 and 11 days later its 1.018. The target gravity on the can is 1.008. Does anyone have any idea what FG I should expect from using 2 cans? There...

    Doubling up hoppy copper kit

I brewed it yesterday. Used both cans and 500g of sugar got an og of 1.052. I pitched both yeasts and the wort tastes amazing. I'm going to dry hop with east Kent goldings and fuggles

    Using 2x1can kits

I've gone 2x tins of hoppy copper and 500g of sugar. The raw wort tastes promising. I've got some east Kent goldings and fuggles lying around so I'll dry hop it with those. Og was 1.052. I'll update as and when. Thanks for the advice and encouragement

    Using 2x1can kits

That's my point, doubling up should give flavour, body and head retention in theory

    Using 2x1can kits

Yes I understand that. But I got them for a fiver each so worth a go

    Using 2x1can kits

I got the two kits for a tenner so I've got little to lose by trying

    Using 2x1can kits

Cheers mate. The wilkos one can kits I've done have been very wishy washy and tasteless so maybe double bitterness would be a bonus?

    Using 2x1can kits

I've got 2 wilko hoppy copper bitter kits that I intend brewing as 1 batch. If I add a kilo of sugar would this affect flavour or simply bump up the ABV? Also if I mixed a can of bitter with a can of stout kit would I get a decent porter? Thank you

    Doubling up hoppy copper kit

Hello, has anyone brewed the wilko hoppy copper kit? I've got 2 and I am going to brew both kits together to 23 litres. Any advice? If I add sugar will it affect the flavour?
