    Corny keg woes

    Hi guys. Cant see any corrosion in the sealing face. Put vaseline inside as well as seals.And turned it all ways but no joy. So ordered a new lid which should be here tomorrow. I'll keep the old one for back up as planning to get at least 3 cornies going in time. Cheers for the replies guys :)...

    Yes will keep you posted. It should come out about 6.5 percent that's all i know as lost the hydrometer somehow on brew day of all days!. Yes think the small batches will suit me better as can have plenty of different beers. Biggest problem i have is im running out of fermentation buckets 🤣

    Thanks for that steve much appreciated. I also thought of contacting micro brewerys to see if they would supply small amounts. Theres a few near me. Worth a try especially if you pick up some of the beers while you're there 😉

    Haha yes the pizza is great. They have built a large outdoor shed type seating area now. Keeps you dry 😅. A few of those 9 percent beers and you're on your way lol

    It's a gas hob Clint. Think it should manage doing two brews one after the other. Hard work since my local Hbs closed due to retirement. They had full ranges of hops grain etc and many years of experience . They would have tailored a recipe for me.
