    Pilgrims reward ipa hamstead homebrew

I know what you mean, I used to brew quite a few Pinter brews. I found a Pinter cider pack I had here dated September last year. Fairplay it fermented well. I put the hamstead homebrew czech pilsner on today. It come with two tubs of malt extract and a bag with liquid hop oil in it. I'm going...

    Pilgrims reward ipa hamstead homebrew

I brewed this for 5 days at 22-24 degrees. I usually brew for 12-14 days minimum. I thought I'd brew it as per the instructions. It finished at 1.011, making it 4%. I brewed it with the hamstead homebrew brew enhancer. I added the hops at the start. The instructions stated add 250ml of boiling...

    Hamstead homebrew Cornish ale

Haha I know the feeling! To be honest I was a bit dubious about their kits before I bought the cardinals ale. I've always been one of the ones that brew for two weeks minimum condition for two weeks minimum. With most of the hamstead homebrew kits you throw everything in at the start. Which I...

    Hamstead homebrew Cornish ale

I bottled the pilgrims reward ipa yesterday. It had only been brewing for 5 days but it was steady on 1.010. I bottled the abott ale clone after six days and that ended up great. The hops mellowed a bit and you can deffinately taste the lemon and grapefruit notes. It's already starting to clear...

    Hamstead homebrew Cornish ale

No heat, I've been keeping an eye on it with my ispindle and the temperature was 23 degrees it's now dropped to 22 degrees so it will be ok :-) With the pilgrims reward ipa the instructions said to add the hops to 250ml boiling water dissolve malt extract and spray malt in fermenter then add...

    Hamstead homebrew Cornish ale

Its the pilgrims reward ipa in the fermenter at the moment. It's only been doing two days and it's down on 1.015. I know what you mean, I try and leave them as long as I can if brewing a lager to try and get the clean crisp taste and serve ice cold

    Hamstead homebrew Cornish ale

Just a quick update on the hamstead homebrew Cornish ale. I brewed it before we had this hot weather, I tried fermenting without heat. It stopped fermenting at 1.016 and stayed there for a few days, so I bottled some and kegged some. I poured some from the pressure barrel yesterday and I was...

    Hamstead homebrew funky bow wow

All the kits I've done from hamstead homebrew have included malt extract in plastic white tubs. I've got the funky bow wow, and I noticed the malt extract is in two white pouches. I wonder if it's the same malt extract or different?
