    Munton's Gold Old English Bitter

Hi Tom May be my memory playing tricks on me because the Sachet in the Kit is identically packaged as the ones I bought. The bbe dates are almost identical and i am now thinking I bought from Boyes when I was left a sachet short in a Woodfordes kit a while back Neither say Beer but then again...

    Munton's Gold Old English Bitter

Thanks very much soupdragon for the reply Given where I bought it I didnt really expect the Kit to have been rustled for a sachet of yeast but I know some Muntons (Woodfordes etc) have had issues of stuck fermentation and Muntons added a second Yeast and that seems to have cured the issue So I...

    Munton's Gold Old English Bitter

Hi Sorry but search didn't help out Just bought this Kit but only had 1 yeast sachet when I got it home. I always used to check in Wilco, Boyes and similar places as (I'm guessing) people used to open Kits and remove one Yeast but this was on shelf of local home brew shop So should it have 2...

    Tinsel Toes & Hop Pellets

Thanks for replies so far. Given the Beer needs to be kept warm for Secondary Fermentation that seems to rule out chilling them. With 6 days or more till fermentation completes (after just dropping them in) do they sink or do they dissolve for want of a better word ? Cheers again JT

Heating Greenhouse in conjunction with Inkbird control

I will look for bargain Inkbirds now. I'm going to do as you suggest and line inner walls of Greenhouse with bubble wrap or similar Install Inkbird and set to come on at 3c go off at 5c. I will have to choose a simple Tube heater or similar with no built in Thermostat as that might be at...

Heating Greenhouse in conjunction with Inkbird control

Hi and thanks Mashbag for the interest and reply. Spotted immediately as a Yorkshireman your 3c to 5c .... much better than 5c to 10c (wasting money lol) Question I haven't got answer to yet is if you use an Inkbird (or similar) can it be set to switch on my chosen heater when temp gets to 3c...

Heating Greenhouse in conjunction with Inkbird control

Hi Foggie and thanks v much for the interest and reply I'm liking the look of the Inkbird but would it be a combo of that and a Dimplex heater. Would Inkbird be able to crack the Heater up when temp fell to say 5c and then simply turn off when Temp in Greenhouse got to say 20c ? It implies...

Rumour? is Wilko's going into administration?

I'm perfectly happy doing Kits , mainly Woodfordes based ones and think Wilko will be suffering like other High Street shops as people shop online The big downer though on Online buying is the delivery charges. You can avoid them of course by getting past a minimum spend but it's always...

Rumour? is Wilko's going into administration?

I was looking for Beer Kit recently and missed the HB section entirely. So I asked assistant if they had any and she directed me to where I had looked She added they are reflecting on the whole range of products they stock and HB is one of them so it may be phased out once the "reflection...
