    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

Odd, to rule the IP range out without messing with your router, I'd maybe try setup a hotspot with a phone and try connect the ispindel to it. Edit: or manually give it an IP

    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

It should as it just gets an IP off the DHCP. With the iSpindel in config mode (pressing reset a few times) in one of the config pages it tells you the IP it got designated and what network it connects to

    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

Yep "*tilt" remains in the formula. If using the spreadsheet the outcome formula can be pasted directly to the iSpindel I had a headache using the online tool as I eventually found it would replace *tilt with ^2, and I needed to change it back

    iSpindel - digital WiFi hydrometer

Odd that this topic only resurfaced for me today, I have a bunch of older style PCB's by "MrTeel" if anyones interested. I believe they fit the "XL" geocaching container.

    Hop plants/rhizomes - growing report

Primadonna started taking off this month. (West mids). Planted rhizome back last August as it was discounted. I have bigger pots but OH reckons they're more useful for the veg than one lone little shoot. Domesticated house panther for scale.

    My workplace switched suppliers...

Thanks for the feedback guys, I do maintenance on the premises, it's all been put in my stock room at the moment - so kinda in my way when I'm doing my job. From what I've been told is they had a contract about 15 years ago with Carlsberg Tetley, which ended, had a new contract elsewhere which...

    My workplace switched suppliers...

It's all locked in a cupboard out of eyesight, at least until over the new year, just Mr Nosey Scrapman saw the contractors with all the gear outside so he pulled in to ask. ITS ALL MINE I TELL YE! What was odd was a random lone gas ball-lock connection that got ripped out with the rest of the...

    My workplace switched suppliers...

Im really unsure where to put this post but as it's "equipment" this was my best guess: Question is: Who does commercial bar gear belong to? Basically the venue I work at has changed suppliers who came in, took out all the old taps and under counter coolers - telling us "the industry doesn't...

Best cheap kettle for home built boiler

Just to warn that IEC leads that come with computer equipment are usually only rated 5 Amps as most PCs pull under 300watts. Also be wary of cheap eBay leads which could be copper clad aluminium (CCA)

what is the best beer you have ever tasted?

Depends, rented a pedal bike in Lanzarote once which ended up being a lot longer & more uphill than I had liked. Getting back to the hotel for a cold half-pint plastic cup of "Tropical" ~ words can't describe the emotions. On the other hand - Oakham Citra Was what got me back into brewing beer...

    Hi all!

Been a long time lurker to be honest. Been making Wilko kits every summer for the past decade back during my Uni days, had some great dorm parties! A few years ago I started trying a few 2-can 3kg kits and my taste palette changed from cheap lagers, shots & alcopops towards stouts and -...

    B&M kits

^ absolutely, I picked up the very last American IPA kit and Starter Bucket kit all for a tenner just the other day at my local. For what it's worth; it seems the MYO website is under construction and had a survey not too long ago asking about other beer recipes and looking at expanding out of...
