Brewzilla 3.1.1 fine mesh screen for malt pipe

I watched Little Johns Brewing on YouTube and saw that he used one but I couldn't find one in the UK or Ireland. They only seem to be on sale in the Australia and the US. I got mine on the Amazon US but they only come up for sale every now and again (Brewing BE510 Siphon Spray Wort Aerator New...

Brewzilla 3.1.1 fine mesh screen for malt pipe

I've never used the fine mesh screen and I always use rice hulls to increase efficiency and to avoid stuck sparges. After I had a few brews under my belt, I stopped using the tube in the middle of the mash pipe (I bought a plate without a hole but I wish I had just plugged it as it's a 1/4" BSP...

    Advanced Hop Products for Homebrewers

I'm really interested in using these products and I see that you have also released the BarthHaas stuff. But I think you should give some of these products away to experienced members of this forum (and I'm not one of them) or UK/IRL YouTube brewers in order to show us homebrewers how to use...

    Too low OG

I brewed a similar recipe to yours in my Brewzilla 35L. In fact, my grain bill was almost identical but my Brewfather water calculation was for a total of 31.4 litres. So maybe that's your key issue. Plus I would have expected a higher grain bill for no sparging. Anyway, I've been steadily...

    Feedback Needed

I love the beer line idea! Brilliant. Also I’m scared that if I buy any SS Brewtech stuff then it will open up a new world of expensive gear acquisition ;-) But then again it might be time to move on from the Kegland/Keg King stuff. Especially as I’m fed up reading about their feuding.

    Feedback Needed

I found that I can slightly reduce the BZ difference in temps by using rice hulls to aid the recirculation during the mash. I've also ditched the malt pipe bottom screen, top screen and adjustable pipe for a bottom screen that has no hole in it ( 13.9US $ |Brewzilla 35L Bottom Screen for...

Size of Erlenmeyer conical flask for starter

I have a 2L erlenmeyer and it works perfectly for my starters when using a decent size funnel. But now I use a 5L demijohn jug (the one with the handle) to overbuild my starters and put half in the fridge until next time. The demijohn doesn’t work with a stir plate but I just swirl the stater...

    Guinness brew

Being from Ireland and living in Dublin, this is the one brew that I make which brings out my harshest critics...even my Mother and she doesn't drink alcohol. However, I'm still not happy with my recipe, so it's not worth sharing yet but I'll keep on tweaking. I don't use lactic acid because...

    What did you brew today?

Just finished brewing an Old Thumper ESB with Ringwood yeast yesterday and my fermenter is already rocking! A really active fermentation is a beautiful thing :)

    Fermzilla

I decided against the big Fermzilla with the dump jar and bought an AR because the of the reviews from people who found the jar difficult to remove. And whilst I would love a way to remove trube and dry hop, my brews don't stay in the AR too long (thanks to Kveik) and I use magnets with muslin...

Two seals on a ball lock post.

I bought 4 sets for £20 including postage on Aliexpress but had to wait over a month for them..... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33040171511.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.51d64c4dwgaEiM

Two seals on a ball lock post.

My 9/16 posts arrived today and they fit perfectly! I'm over the moon to see the back of the pink double o-ring posts. Have say though, I needed to use WD40 on the old post and then sit on the keg to get some leverage to remove them. But it's worth it 😃

    2 Litre PET Bottles

I'll let you know how I get on but I'm planning to do exactly as you describe. I can fit one PET bottle standing and 3 laying down. I also have a few of those floating dip tube gadgets with filters attached, so I was going to see if that helps with any yeast problems....

    2 Litre PET Bottles

Planning an experiment to use them as a poor person's mini-keg with a couple of carbonation caps and a tee-piece as I need to get more beer into my fridge!

Kveik Yeast in American Amber Ale

I like the sound of that.....so much easier than washing the yeast. But do you still have to decant the beer and and the yeast in order to remove the trube?

    2 Litre PET Bottles

Does anyone know where I can buy a few 2 Litre PET bottles? I can only find the smaller ones in the usual brew shops or pallets of them on eBay. Trying to avoid buying bottles of Old English Cider  Thanks!
