    29mm crown caps

If you use the supplier above please be aware that their payment merchant ( page that you get sent to enter the card details and pay) offers the option to pay in sterling, infact it preticked the option, do not do this as you will get a rip off exchange rate. If you have one use a Starling or...

    29mm crown caps

    29mm crown caps

I can get 1000 26mm crown caps delivered for £16, yet the cheapest I can find for 1000 29mm crown caps is £46 delivered, does anyone know of a cheaper source? This feels a bit expensive for what is essentially the same product. Mark

    Marmite

I've just returned from Aldi, where I found they have started selling their own brand yeast extract at around £1 cheaper than Marmite, I haven't tried it yet, but in the past I've found other own brand yeast extract such as Sainsbury's to be fine. Mark

    Sodium percarbonate..

As the astonish is 30% the same as the previously used home brew stuff I've been using the same dilution rate which is 25 gram to 5 litres of warm to hot water. The Wilko stuff which says " more than 30%" (but not how much more) says 4 teaspoons (16grams) to 5 litres of water, but I'm happy...

    Sodium percarbonate..

The sodium percarbonate sold in Wilko and other places for home brew use is usually 30 % so you won't need to use any extra. Mark

    Sodium percarbonate..

No, like the sodium percarbonate I got from the home brew shop it doesn't really smell of anything. (Either that or my visit to Caerphilly yesterday was more dangerous than I thought !) Mark

    Cleaning pet bottles

Hi All, I recently bought 48 500ml pet bottles and have put them into use, normally with glass bottles I rinse then put though the dish washer after use but I have read you shouldn't put pet bottles in the dishwasher, so far I have just rinsed them out after pouring into a glass , do I need to...
