Equipment For Sale Kegland Double wall 4mm x 8mm EVATube

I have a 12m (minus ~6cm) length of Kegland EVABarrier 4mm(5/32) x 8mm(5/16) Double wall EVA Beer line/Gas Line that I don't need. Someone make me an offer? Collect from Bristol or I can post.

Equipment For Sale Fermenter King Gen 3 used once.

I'm thinking of selling my Fermenter King Gen 3 Starter Kit. I bought it late one night, yes it seemed like a good idea! I've used it once and it works with no leaks, there's still a bit of a tide mark from the first brew. I still have all the original parts and box. I make more wine than...

    Cheap long term wine storage?

Ah, sorry I'm in Bristol and no plans to be anywhere near Liverpool in the near future unfortunately. I wouldn't be happy shipping seeing how couriers handle packages!

    Ispindel leaking!!

I've read that some people have had success with O rings in their iSpindel and pressure fermenting, but it's not for me from the testing I did. As I mostly make wine it's not an issue. Next time I do some beer, it'll be without the iSpindel, I'll have to rely on the fermentation lock and...

    Cheap long term wine storage?

@Berry454 Where are you? I've got some demi-johns that are looking for a good next life. I got them as a job lot and am slowly cleaning them, too many for my needs but better than recycling which is where they were going!

@Arek Sorry but I'm going to have to a pause on this (I've been told). Hopefully you'll find someone else interested. Chris

Equipment For Sale Brewing stuff for sale

@Arek Thanks, I need to sort some stuff out, I'll get back to you. Any idea of postage, i.e. overall cost?

Equipment For Sale Brewing stuff for sale

Hi @Arek , potentially interested in the Universal CO2 regulator (SodaStream fitting), (possibly) SodaStream cannister and the Fermentasaurus jacket. This would have to be posted to Bristol though, not going to be anywhere near to collect. edit: removed size request, I'll look it up!

Are 6 bottle wine kits worth it?

@Berry454 Are the 6 bottle kits worth it, well yes, BUT in my experience the same variety 30 bottle kits give a better result. Let me qualify that, the 6 bottle kits don't seem as smooth/polished/refined (can't say exactly) when compared to the 30 bottle kits, yes they let you know if you like...

    Ispindle and WiFi booster/relay

The router I've repurposed is one with external aerials, but as I said I just need to get a netwrok socket fitted in my brew area. I have to crawl under our house to finish it off and it's a bit too cold to go and finish it off!

    iSpindel

No, I've had it running (nearly) continously for the last 2-3 years. Been tempted to start afresh, but it works fine at the moment so I can't see why, but then again...

    iSpindel

Yes, you have to calibrate if you want to get realistic SG readings. As an experiment I put in constants that someone else published, yes I got wild SG readings but I could see that the SG was changing so I could see when it had stopped fermenting. I've run the calibration cycle twice for one...

Fermentrack for me, but mainly 'cos I had a Pi lying around and seemed like a good idea at the time. If I didn't have a spare Pi, I would have gone Brewpiless to start with.

    Ispindle and WiFi booster/relay

Now that is an interesting project, thank you for pointing that one out! I've repurposed an old router for all my brewing related gadgets, but still to wire it in permanently though.

Anybody tried Fermenting wine under pressure?

Slight correction, the wine is On The House - Reisling.

Anybody tried Fermenting wine under pressure?

So, I've gone and started a Sauv Blanc in my newly purchased Fermenter King Gen 3 with a view to using this for wine making mostly. OK, this was a late night purchase after a few beers... Having seen a few posts over time saying that it's more efficient in that there's less loss of wine...

    Undercarbonated St Peter's Honey Porter

Well! I opened two bottles last night and what a difference! It was like a different beer completely. Well carbonated (lots of small bubbles), good head and a hint of honey. My takeaway from this is patience, don't believe the instructions to leave to carbonate for 2 weeks, leave it for at...

    Melted airlock - Help!?

I've had the occasional lock break if the cork is " stuck" and I've levered a bit too much on the lock itself. Never seen anything like that! I wouldn't throw anything away yet, if you've put another lock in place, wait and see if it has spoiled, or syphon into bottles now and check later. I...
