    Equipment Crossover?

Degas? I think I need to read a 'how-to' guide!

    Equipment Crossover?

I'd be doing 30 bottles, I think. No wine-specific equipment needed?

Hello Peeps, Can I make a wine kit using my beer equipment, or do I need extra stuff? Thanks. Jerry

Reusing Doombar mini keg for homebrew ?

Recommend me a low alcohol (1% or less) commercial brew

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I've had the Ghost Ship which is almost there but not quite. It's still a bit of a "best of a bad bunch" situation, isn't it? Jerry

Young's New World Saison stuck on 1009.

"So you have temperature control? " No, that's just fermentation variation.

Young's New World Saison stuck on 1009.

Instructions say to hop at 1008 and bottle at 1006, but hasn't moved for a week so doubt it'll go to 1006. Do you think it's finished at 1009 which would be 5.91ABV instead of 6.3?

    Misty when cold

If you use Clarity Ferm or similar, does it affect how much yeast is available for carbonation in bottles?

Covid the *** and the final stage.

I'm more worried about the ridiculous number of NHS staff who have refused their vaccine.

    How many of you have?

I will still be going to the pubs for nights out with friends, it's not all about the cost. Plus, I don't want them round here drinking all my beer!
  17. alfajerry

    Wow

I will have to do this one again as it is the one which every single person I've offered it to has liked, even non-beer drinkers and people of the female persuasion, so I'll try to keep it in stock for visitors. I, personally, find it a little bit 'too juicy', a little bit 'alcopoppy'. I still...

    Show us your Pushbikes

It is shocking. If I ride over the other side of town to see my Mum, have a coffee and a biscuit, I wipe out the calories burnt. I tell my daughter it's better not to put the calories in rather than try to burn them off.
