What country makes the best beer?

France isn’t on there because I googled the best beer countries and it wasn’t on the list 😂. Neither was the Czech Republic that’s why it’s after other. I’ll add France now.

    Motorhome Brewer

Cant wait for the series to come out. Man brews and sells beer illegally from a motorhome. Call it "Brewing Bad"...

What country makes the best beer?

Was having a conversation in work about what country contributes the best beers to the world. If you had to stick to one country for beers what would it be? My favourite drink is probably an American style IPA but if I had to pick a country to drink only their beers for the rest of my life it...

    Overnight hop stand

I would go for something like Mosaic, Citra, Cascade, Galaxy etc as I find they have more of a "hoppy IPA" character to them. Also is there a reason you're not dry hopping them in your fermenter?

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

An update on my original question. A 10 litre container holds 3kgs with a decent head space. Probably perfect for when you want to buy more of the same before you run out of that specific malt.

    NEIPA stratification in the fermerter

I was under the impression that NEIPAs don’t bottle condition brilliantly because of the oxidation issues. Could it be that some are more oxidised than others causing the range of flavour? Are they all pouring the same colour?

    Hoppiest IPA without dry hopping

I was trying to avoid ordering anything else and just use what I usually have in anyway.

    Stella SMASH Clone Recipe Check

I cold crash everything I brew including NEIPAs which are the most sensitive to oxidation and never had an issue. The oxygen that gets drawn back shouldn’t drop below the co2 blanket anyway just drop the temperature over a few days.

    Stella SMASH Clone Recipe Check

I always mash for an hour minimum. You might struggle getting down to 12°C with an immersion chiller. With lagers I get them down as cold as I can then leave them in the fermenter fridge until it’s down to fermentation temp. There’s a guide to lagering from grainfather that says it’s best to...

    Hoppiest IPA without dry hopping

Hey all I have a few friends who all use the Pinter systems and I’m looking at brewing a 40 pint all grain batch and I’m going to fill each of their pinters with 10 pints each. For my beer I just add a load of hops to the fermenter but can’t with the Pinter as it’s a closed pressure...

Do you brew on something unique? (home made breweries)

How many on here brew on a completely unique brewery? I know some people modify existing equipment but has anyone built theirs from scratch? I have seen a few brilliant designs and was thinking about going that way myself but what have you done to create your brewery?

Domed lid for SS Brewbucket 7 Gal

I'm going to have to get a box to fit my glycol chilled fermenters in to keep my CO2 blankert on the outside haha

Domed lid for SS Brewbucket 7 Gal

I don't bother. I've never had an issue with it before even on NEIPAs. Also because I ferment inside a fridge which is sealed I imagine the atmosphere inside it is probably made up of mainly CO2.
