    Hi, Don't store them in the fridge, they will get damp. This will cause them to fall apart, which in itself is not so much of an issue but it may well effect how they react with your wort, as in, not so effective. Ambient temperature will be fine.

    Get a kilo of your base malt and add some hot water just like your doughing in. Leave it a while then give it a strong smell and have a taste. If it tastes of smoke that is the cause. at least you will be able to rule it out Rob

    Previous harvests have not been a patch on this one, I couldn't believe the difference when we packed it. It had a spicy, peppery aroma not often found in a British hop to this extent. I am sure you wont be disappointed. Rob
