    National Homebrew Competition

Sounds like 18B to me. Might be marked down on being hazy. NEIPAs are allowed to be a bit bitter btw, I think this is down on ABV though,

    Fridge Thermostat bypass help

If you connect the two clips I mentioned ( so three wires) that will do it. Instead of the thermostat completing the circuit when the temperature gets too warm, instead it will be on 100% of the time. It's 2 female connectors so you will need something male to join them. I used a prong from a...

There's no filter on the pump, so hop bags/spider a must

    Fridge Thermostat bypass help

I had to do it on mine because it was an old fridge I picked up for a couple of quid, and wouldn't get anywhere near 1 degree otherwise. Agree, a newer fridge like the OP has might be better, and this step unnecessary.

How little in a 25L fermentation vessel?

It's one of home-brewing's most bizarre myths. It's not even intuitive, so I'm unsure has it has come about. Gases mix.

    Sabro, Talus, LUPOMAX

It's not awful, it's rather pleasant imo. It does dominate other hop flavours though so use sparingly.

    Fridge Thermostat bypass help

Unplug the two going into the thermostat (one is black/red, the other brown), and connect these together. @nickjdavis you do this so you can control the temp with an inkbird. Also, you can get the fridge down to temperatures that it wasn't intended to go.

    Brewfather and capacity calculations

We did a partigyle here, but we split the mash between my cooler mash tun and a grainfather. The cooler went without a hitch, but the grainfather got stuck and burnt. In hindsight should've gone for the giant mash in the cooler! It's a lot easier to mash in with grain and strike water separate...

This looks promising thanks. Free delivery too :)

    Brewfather and capacity calculations

The rule of thumb I found was strike + grain on kg *0.652 I checked this against some calculators I found on Google and it seems to tally up. I'm not sure what grain absorption ratio is built into that, but worst case scenario you can increase the multiplier by 20%, then you have 65l which is...

    Where to buy cask beer?

Thanks. I think Eebria just do keg, but I'll try

    Favourite Kit

Before I went all-grain it was the Mangrove Jack Juicy Session IPA for me. This went down an absolute treat. I did dry hop with 100g Nelson Sauvin too though.

    Brewfather and capacity calculations

I calculate that to be around 63l, plus your dead space. Will fit but not much sparge room.

    Where to buy cask beer?

I'm 15 minute drive from Bermondsey. Plus there's plenty in SE London generally. If they are allowed to sell direct I'll contact them then. Thanks :)

    Where to buy cask beer?

Hi, for an upcoming event I'm looking to buy 2 casks of ale (and around 100 cans). Is it best that I contact breweries directly for this, or do I have to go through a distributor? License etc, is sorted, just need to work out where best to buy the beer!

    Brewing with fruit

Farty flavours are often H2S. Common in homebrew and farmyard cider. It's volatile, so you can wait it out before packaging. Otherwise, run through copper pipe, or chuck an old penny in. OH made a cider kit which stank. We stirred with a copper pipe ===> Smell gone completely. Boiling any fruit...

    Brewing with fruit

Lidl is good for frozen fruit. Packaged fruit has a big advantage over fresh in that sanitation/pectin is not required too (although I wouldn't necessarily bother anyway)

Mixed up hop pellets, what to use them for?

I'd lean towards whirlpooling in a pale. Worst case scenario - they are all magnum. You'll end up with a pleasant floral/spice character, which will be overwhelmed by any dry hop. Best case scenario - you'll produce a wonderful beer which you can never replicate!

    How to avoid NEIPA oxidation?

If you could spund in your pressure vessel they'd be no need to condition at all.

    How to avoid NEIPA oxidation?

I think this would work perfectly.
