    Put a wilkos winter ale on the go 16 days ago but it appears stuck at 1022, wait or just bottle. Has been kept at a constant 22C. Also, add the apple or not, seems to taste quite fine without it. Wife says yay I say nay.

    The hops were bought seperately it is a 23l batch, haven't yet got as far as steeping i'm still at the stage where i just tip them in, although someone did suggest making a tea, hoping the brew length is two weeks before cold crashing for three days

    upped the temp by a couple of degrees and pitched some more yeast, has dropped some, just going to recheck then cold crash for bottling later in the week. Thanks to everyone for the tips and advice

    At the moment i'm still just brewing the kits so whatever yeast is in the box for the most part I have started to change the yeast in the last couple of brews but still the same outcome. Carry on regardlessfor the mo' then.
