I've I've put cling film on it. Why does cling film want to stick everything (including me) but not the thing your trying to get it to cling to ? :mad:

I used to do that but found that even with several layers of insulation it still picked up temperature changes of the chamber.

I buy them 5 at a time. Some seem to work most of the time but not all and I just swap it out and bin it. Good project. There is a lot of pleasure when it all comes together. Active fermentation is only a few days really which is when it needs cooling so swapping out ice blocks shouldn't be too...

The tube is a temperature probe and I'd like to keep that in. I could do the cling film thing though.

Made a use them up brew today to do a split batch open/closed fermentation. Gains included - Maris Otter, extra pale organic, Vienna, Munich 1, dextrin and possibly something else. Hops were Herkules, Fuggles and Calypso. Goodness knows what its going to taste like. Anyway, ended up 1.052...

We had something similar (I also remember having a remote that had a wire trailing back to the TV) but ours you could go up and down channels. At one point we get fed up of my mam constantly increasing and decreasing the volume so we took the batteries out. She didn't know anything was wrong...

Not entirely convinced it is genuine. Saw a screen shot recently of a tip option on a cash machine, not convinced that was real either. I think there is more pressure to tip in America though. Has anyone subtracted an automatically added tip ?
